SC Preußen Münster

It all started with a school team

On April 30, 1906, the traditional Münster club was founded as “FC Preußen Münster” by students of what is now the Johann-Conrad-Schlaun-Gymnasium. The first venue was a parade ground provided by the military at Loddenheide.

Return to professional football

On May 6, 2011, the time had finally come - after what felt like an eternity, the Prussians returned to professional football. And they didn't just do it, but with a bang. In front of 18,500 spectators - up to then a record number of spectators at a regional league game - they managed to get promoted to the 3rd division. Everything was perfected with a 3-0 win against the second team of Borussia Mönchengladbach.
